What is Catholic Men’s Fellowship?
Catholic Men’s Fellowship is a nationwide ministry movement for Catholic men. Members of the group gather in a local setting such as a parish to pray, study the Bible, and discuss faith-related topics as they relate to their own lives and spiritual journeys.
What’s the purpose of this site, Catholic Mens Fellowship.net?
This site exists to provide resources to help men start and run their own Catholic Men’s Fellowship group. The site freely offers tested, proven guidelines and a searchable collection of meetings plans on a variety of faith-related topics.
Where do I start?
If you’re new to fellowship groups, a great place to start is our Guide to Catholic Men’s Fellowship Groups.
Once you’re familiar with the basics, check out our individual fellowship meeting plans. You can browse all our plans by category or date posted, or use our search box near the top-right of any page to see everything we have on a specific topic.
Finally, new meeting plans are continually being added. So check back often for more new content!
How do I use one of your meeting plans for my own group?
Our meeting plans generally provide an Introduction to the topic, a selection of Readings (primarily from Scripture and the Catechism of the Catholic Church), and a list of Discussion Questions.
To start, we suggest that you copy the meeting plan into your own email composer. Next, customize your announcement by adding specific details about your group’s meeting. These should include:
- The date of the meeting
- The specific start and end times
- The meeting location (be as specific as needed for your group – can include a full address, or perhaps just the name of the building or room on your parish campus)
- The name(s) of this session’s leader(s)
- Sign the message with the name of the sender (could be an individual, or the team leading the fellowship group)
- Any “P. S.” announcements needed for the group such as reminders, prayer requests, etc.
Finally, you’ll want to include key details in the announcement’s Subject line, such as “St. Gertrude Catholic Men’s Fellowship Meeting this Saturday, March 8th at 7:30 a.m. in the School Cafeteria”
