Faith, Love, and Mercy Hidden in Suffering

As you know, we’re about to meet once again for our upcoming session.

REMEMBER:  “Reach out” and invite a man to join you —  your invitation could be all that man needs to be with us!

At this gathering we’ll consider “LESSONS FROM THE SCHOOL of SUFFERING”.  Many of us have likely had spiritual insights gained following an accident, illness, or other trial.   Personal reflections arising from periods of pain and discomfort give insights into God’s Faith, Mercy & Love that can benefit all and clearly qualify as LESSONS FROM THE SCHOOL of SUFFERING!

We ask that you take a few minutes to reflect on the following Scriptures before our meeting:

Isaiah 50: 4 – 9 . . . The Servant was supported in his trials

Acts 9:5; 10:44; 16:14 . . . The Suffering of these individuals led to a common end result

Matthew 18: 19 – 20 . . . Our Heavenly father will honor what two or more agree to in prayer.

Mark 15: 33 – 34 . . . Jesus cries out in desperation!

We’ll consider times we may have suffered in some circumstance and ask:

  1. Was your Faith impacted in some meaningful way?
  2. How your Love for another may have changed…
  3. If you experienced acts of Mercy
  4. And, did your perspective on suffering change as a result of your experience?

This session has “high” promise … we’re looking forward to seeing you there!
